PHP
As described on the Web Development page, at the end of the last century it seemed that I tried to use Java a bit too early which was why I stuck with PHP. Some years later (thanks to Moore’s law) I had to ask myself whether I was sitting on a wrong branch. But also PHP has thrived evolving rapidly offering anything I would ever need to experiment concepts on a modern basis.
And, at the end of the day, the programming language (if there is a choice) is not a top priority, because
Using any programming language, you can write ingenious as well as lousy code.
